Welcome to my blog my name is April and photography is my passion. I first fell in love with photography 18 years ago in high school. I discovered a black and white photography class and boom the start of a love. I have since picked up every book and bit of info I can get my hands on. ( Now a collection of 700 books) I have been called a camera nerd because I love to learn all that I can so that I can better myself in the field of photography. I have since started a business because of people asking me to do weddings, family photos, so I thought I'd give it a try I mean who wouldn't to do what they love :)

52 Weeks

I am going to be doing a project called 52 weeks. I have a theme/topic for each week that I will be photographing and I then will be posting some of the photo's here. First week theme is "Free For All" so anything goes. Now here is the photo:  It was a quick shot of my dog Koa my daughter thought he needed a bubble wrap cape. I did use my on camera flash because the room was almost pitch black and I didn't have time to grab anything else Koa wouldn't hold still. I do love how you can see the pink on his nose. Koa wore the bubble cape all day. When my daughter took him out to potty a police officer saw him and asked my daughter what is wrong with your dog? My daughter laughed and said nothing it is his bubble wrap cape because he is a super dog. Just thought I'd share that little story with my first photo. Happy Shooting.
